On Friday 3rd February, the FDP studio doors were open all day for a Charity Pool-athon in aid of the Children’s Heart Surgery Fund. Clients and neighbours were invited to join the team and go head-to-head in a Pool Championship. Each player donated £1 to play - contributing towards the total amount raised for The Children’s Heart Surgery Fund. The event attracted a great crowd, with friends, clients and neighbours arriving throughout the day. Contenders visited from Northside, Digitec Ltd, IT @ Spectrum, AMT vehicle group, Act Safety and Data Shepherd; not forgetting a guest appearance from the CHSF’s Katie Bear.

It was a heated competition and our digital expert Paul was left undefeated; up until Jon from IT @Spectrum took the cue and showed us all how to play a conquering game of pool.
A total of £303 was raised on the day, this was a fantastic effort by all concerned. The FDP Group would like to thank you all for your support; you all donated your time and money to help this excellent charity.
