2019… How do we sum it up? It’s been quite the year. There have been many iconic moments from the introduction of the Greggs vegan sausage roll to a picture of an egg gaining the most social media interactions ever to the now infamous Fyre Festival documentary.

We had a great opportunity to assist Leeds English Language School with their Marketing Strategy. The discovery sessions gave us clarity and insight into how the brand should be portrayed and how we intend the audience to perceive the brand.

Encouraging your audience to share the experiences that they had with your brand is a very effective way to collect valuable insight regarding the brand experience as a whole, whilst boosting the relationship with the customer. We are all watching the rise of artificial intelligence (AI) in marketing and how it affects clients’ relationships with consumers. As a company that focuses on bringing out emotional connections through physical environments, we’ll see AI play an even bigger role for brands as they look to personalise and automate more digital and traditional communications.

Next year we celebrate the 70th anniversary of the NHS and we have been reflecting on how communication for the Healthcare industry has developed. The 70th anniversary of the NHS is a perfect opportunity to showcase its achievements.
There is no doubt that 2017 has seen a refinement in the way we use rich media. Brands are now trying to find new ways to communicate effectively with the public and healthcare is definitely no exception to this need to communicate with all groups. After all, creating interesting content powers successful integrated marketing strategies.

At The FDP Group, we understand the importance of staff and visitor safety. This is the reason we have installed a Defib Machine in our studio.According to the British Heart Foundation, 60,000 people suffer from cardiac arrest outside of a hospital environment each year. A defibrillator, also known as an Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) is a device which can save a person’s life should they suffer from a cardiac arrest. They are now becoming more common in places of work to give more people a chance of survival in the event of a cardiac arrest. All Defib Machines are provided with full AED awareness training sessions for any staff members who want to learn how to use the life saving equipment.

We were thrilled to hear the news that Northside Truck & Van continues to confirm their excellent status in the Mercedes-Benz Network by winning the manufacturer’s Truck Dealer of the Year award for the second time.
Following this success the second win of the evening was to the Northside’s Marketing team; awarding the team with the title of Marketing Team of the Year 2017.
